Absolute Sicherheit kann es nicht geben – diesen Leitspruch kennt vermutlich jeder. Allerdings gilt es, ein Mindestmaß an Sicherheit anzustreben. Das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnologie (BSI) hat nun erstmals einen Mindeststandard für das Abwehren von Ransomware veröffentlicht.

Unwahrscheinlich, aber möglich!
Terrorangriffe und Amokläufe. Es sind die wohl komplexesten Sicherheitslagen in unserem direkten Umfeld. Viel trösten sich mit dem althergebrachten „ach, bei uns passiert das sowieso nicht“, oder „was können die hier nur wollen?“. Das haben vermutlich auch die Mitarbeiter einer Filiale von McDonalds oder eines Saturn-Marktes im Nordwesten von München gedacht – bis zum 22. Juli 2016. An diesem Tag erschoss der Amokläufer David S. insgesamt neun Menschen in München. Seine ersten fünf Opfer direkt im oben genannten Schnellrestaurant.
